Research On The Actuality And Countermeasures Of Problems Of Higher Vocational College Student Internship

Field work is an important part of job-oriented teaching in higher vocational colleges. It is also a key way to cultivate highly skilled talents meeting the needs of the economic development of modern society. For the past few years, great development has been achieved in college students' field work. However, some problems still exist in the implement and management of field work such as difficulties in position allocation, lack of enthusiasm from both enterprises and students, lack of guidance from the school and so on.By referring to relevant research, the thesis makes an in-depth study on higher vocational college students' field work from perspectives like enterprise involvement, flexibility of position allocation, student motivation and educational reform. Based on basic vocational education theories advocating the combination of teaching and practice, human resources and capitals, learning and practice, the study analyzes the existing difficulties in field work from the level of enterprises, schools and students by making case studies in a key higher vocational college in Zhuhai city mainly through questionnaires and interviews.The results of the analysis indicate that the enterprises' indifference to talent training, the structural imbalance in position allocation, insufficient teachers, lack of guidance, poor communication mechanism among the three involved parties, the students' limitations in understanding, self-positioning and ability combine to lead to the unsuccessful operation of the students' field work. Thus, the author holds that the it is urgent to legalize field work system and suggests that the government make preferential policies for enterprises accepting interns and set up a national information platform linking the needs and demands of interns. At the same time. educational reforms based on highly-flexible internship should be carried out to promote the implement of field work.
