Survey data of3044th to6th grade students at A School of G province was analyzed in this paper in order to examine the peer relationships of the migrant children. With the non-migrant children as the reference group, this paper described the peer communication, family, school and community preferences of the migrant children, and discussed the factors related to the topic. It had been argued that migrant children with poor peer relations should be intervened. The results showed that there was no difference in peer relationships between migrant children and the other children, but the experience of "migration" had effects on migrant children’s peer communication. It was fingered out in the regression model that gender, purpose of communication, intra-family relationships, praise from teachers and the living community has significant effects on children’s peer relations, and local children, unexpected, had less peer relationships than migrant children. It was concluded in this paper that migrant children had good peer relationships, migration had little negative effects. Schools may try some social work intervention to help the children with poor peer relationships.
