Abstract/Summary:
The occupational well-being and team stability of primary school teachers relatewith the quality and future of national basic education. The main purpose of the study is tounderstand the current situation of the occupational well-being and organizationalcommitment of primary school teachers, to find out the relationship between them and tocome to a conclusion of some value, meanwhile, to provide reference for promoting theperformance of primary school’s teachers.Basing on the literature analysis and following the principle of quantitative analysis,the writer had investigated310primary school teachers in the county, town andcountryside of Jiujiang city in Jiangxi province. Used different statistic methods, thestructure,current situation and relationships of primary school tecahers’ occupationalwell-being and organizational commitment had been understood.The conclusions weredrawn as follows:1. The primary school teachers’ occupational well-being was composed of6factors:colleagues relation, students relation, health, occupational affect, occupationalmotivation and efficiency; The primary school teachers’ organizational commitment wascomposed of4factors: affective and ideality commitment,normativecommitment,economy commitment and opportunity commitment.2. There were significant differences of primary school teachers’ occupationalwell-being on the gender, educational level,teaching age and school locality,there werenot significant differences on the marriage,class teacher, management and ranks; Therewere significant differences of primary school teachers’ organizational commitment on the education level and school locality,there were not significant differences on thegender, marriage,management,teaching age, rank and different teaching subjects.3. The occupational well-being and organizational commitment of primary schoolteachers were related positively and significantly.The colleagues relation,students relation,health, occupational motivation and efficiency of occupational well-being were relatedpositively and significantly with organizational commitment;The opportunitycommitment, normative commitment,affect and ideality commitment of organizationalcommitment were related positively and significantly with occupational well-being.4. After conducting the regression analysis and SEM, we found that occupationalwell-being of primary school teachers could predict the organizational commitmentsignificantly.
