The school-based curriculum development is an important approach to the curriculumreform in china, and is made a crucial part of tri-level curriculum management. As anindispensable step for the process of school-based curriculum development, evaluation ofschool-based curriculum development is a course of quality monitoring, which should runsthrough the whole process of school-based curriculum. However with the development of thenew curriculum reform, the problem of evaluation of school-based curriculum developmentin primary school become more and more serious, consequently, building a new evaluationsystem to promote the school-based curriculum development is too impatient to wait.This paper is made up of six parts. The preamble of the paper outlines the origin,objects, significance, methods, and structure of the research. The second part briefly analysisthe domestic and international surroundings, and puts forward the main problems. Part threeis mainly about the policy and theoretical foundation of evaluation indexes system.Part four is mainly about obtaining abundant of material by questionaries, manage data usingSPSS15.0, establishing the evaluation index system. Part five about the analysis of evaluationindex system, including evaluation form, the description of indexes, ranking standards. Partsix about the conclusion and expectation.This evaluation index system is based on the notion that “Evaluation aim atimprovement rather than verification” and is a constructive system, the main evaluator isteacher, the grading method applies to the secondary indexes so that avoid the bondage thatmight result from the over-detailed and over comprehensive indexes. The evaluation systememphasizes the combination of theory and practice, focuses on the school-based curriculumfeature. On the other hand, it pays attention to the aspect of teacher professional development.To some extent, it is feasible.
