"The independent study" has been as an important objective in the curriculum theory field; an important teaching method in teaching theory field and an effective learning pattern in learning field." The independent study", as a kind of effective teaching and learning method which can improve the learning ability of students, it can make the students enter into the learning process initiatively, help the students form their own understanding of teaching contents and think critically, it will not only raise the students’ physical study records at school, but also is an adaptive way of learning, make a good groundwork for the lifelong sports of the students. This research take the female students’ aerobic class in the ordinary college as an example, make a study of the independent learning strategy’s effect in the ordinary college girl’ learning outcome in gymnastics teaching from the repect of the teaching strategy. This is not only to explore the development of college calisthenics teaching, but also to test whether the independent learning strategies can truly improve the students’ learning effects through their own teaching practice, so as to promote the development of the lifelong sports.This study adopts contrast teaching experiment, including the experimental group and control group. Besides the equivalence of other conditions, experimental group conduct the aerobics teaching experiment with independent learning strategies, while the control group use the traditional teaching mode. We obtain the desired data from the students’ fitness test, skill examination and questionnaires survey before and after the experiment, and make a comparison after the relevant statistics process. And drawing conclusions:(1) Through the teaching experiments, the students’strong independent learning desire can be founded, their potential and creativity is immeasurable, but as the traditional teaching pays more attention to the teacher’s leading, the teacher is the absolute center of the class, the only thing students can do is imitation and practice, which is greatly blocking their play and go against their development.(2) From the result of the test, in the respect of the teaching effect on improving students’ physical quality, significant difference can only be founded in ZuoWeiTi proneness projects between independent teaching strategy and traditional teaching (p<0.05), there were no significant difference in the other three (50m run, standing long jump, sit-ups)(p>0.05), but all results were slightly higher than the traditional teaching; In aerobics technology index test, compared with the traditional teaching, independent teaching strategy has very significant difference (P<0.01); To public level2test scores, compared with traditional teaching, independent teaching strategy has significant difference in teaching effects (P<0.05).(3) From the analysis result of the questionnaire survey, compared with the traditional teaching,independent teaching strategy has significant difference in the respect of the students’interest in aerobics learning, the increase of class-odd exercise of teaching effect (P<0.05); And in the interest of aerobics class; the improvement of self-confidence; full play of their potential; demo explain capability; the enhancement of organization ability; the persistent of aerobics exercise and the improvement of self-study ability independent teaching strategy has very significant difference (P<0.01).
