The concept of sustainable development is raised in the backgroundwhere the natural environment, economic, political, cultural,and otheraspects of the problem are increasingly worse,even dangerous to human’ssurvival and development. The essence of Sustainable development is tokeep the harmonious balance between man and nature;man and man;manand the society, which should be comprehended to know sustainabledevelopment well.Especially in recent years,Sustainable developmenteducation has been one active reply to the sustainable developmentproblems.The United Nations started the project"The education to promotesustainable development in ten years by international implementation plan(2005-2014),"by which the sustainable development education isgradually becoming the most popular research event.It shows thatsustainable development education, which means to improve the publicconsciousness of sustainable development, train the sustainable and fairattitude, maintain and improve the knowledge and skills of living anddevelopment, and master the values education of critical thinking andproblem solving skills. The core of this kind of values education is respect,which includes the economic, cultural, social and natural, aspects etc.Sustainable development education is not a separate subject system, whose content has the integrity and interdisciplinary characteristics.Theimplementation of Sustainable development education must be throughoutthe fusion in all kinds of curriculum systems, and the contents of thecourses should be through specific curriculum implementation andteaching practice, so that it can work effectively. Moral education course,as the core of education courses, the values of the implementation of thebasic way to moral education, which is the key link of implementation. Atpresent, the sustainable development education should be combined withthe reform of the courses, and constantly permeate through the moraleducation courses.The middle school moral education course, involves alot of sustainable development problems or contents,which is veryimportant to sustainable development education.The main line of this paper is about how to effectively implementsustainable development education in middle school moral educationcourse to realize sustainable development education.The research mainlyincludes four parts:The first part, the summary of sustainable developmenteducation.The second part ,relation analysis of the school moral educationcurriculum and the sustainable development education.The third part,content analysis of sustainable development education in middle schoolmoral education course.The fourth part, the effective implementation ofthe sustainable development education in middle school moral educationcourse. The innovation of this paper lies in the comprehensive systemcombed the sustainable development education contents in middle school moral education courses,putting forward certain feasibility teaching advice,the "sustainable development of moral education"and some methods of theoperational suggestions.In short, the research of sustainable development education in middleschool moral education courses is good for elementary education reformand conduces to optimizing the middle school moral education curriculumstructure.It is also good for the popularization of sustainable developmenteducation in China’s middle schools .It also has huge practical significanceto definite our country’s basic education target.And it provides guidanceand intellectual supports to the new curriculum reform and teachers’sustainable development education practice,finally services the wholesustainable development education cause.
