The so-called behavior refers to the need of or special tendency to take some actionautomatically after a certain time or stage of repeated practice and reinforcement. Goodhabits are of great significance to a person’s growth and progress. Conversely, bad habits,once formed, will be of great negative impact to the life development and realization of thevalue.The three years of junior high school is an important stage in the growth of youngpeople in life, during which many behaviors and habits are formed and stable. Under theefforts of the society, schools and families, the vast majority of the students have morestandardized behaviors and more civilized habits with their growing and getting moreeducation. They change normally, naturally, positively and healthfully. At the same time,there is such a small part students of junior high school, whose behaviors reversely developwith the higher grades, lacking discipline compared with the performance of the lowergrade, showing a grade negative difference phenomenon.This study, through the collation and analysis of the literature, defines initially theconcept of grade negative difference phenomenon in the behaviors of junior high schoolstudents.Through questionnaires, interviews and case studies, the author analyzes withmulti-angle the causes of the grade negative difference phenomenon. The study finds thatthe various factors including social environment, family education, school education andstudents’ psychology lead to the phenomenon.From a series of studies, the author propose some measures on how to eliminate thegrade negative difference phenomenon of the junior high school students’behaviors: First,to improve the management system and enhance the implementation; Second, to formulatemoral education planning according to different grade features; Third, to respect studentdiversity and strengthen human care; Fourth, to emphasis subject consciousness andself-education; Fifth, to attach importance to environmental influence and strengthenculture construction.; Sixth, to enforce home-school co-operation to form resultant force ofeducation.The study of the grade negative difference phenomenon of junior high schoolstudents’behavior has great significance for the elimination of the campus disharmony,implementation of the philosophy of education“to all students”and realization of theeducational aim“to make each child can succeed.
