In order to improve the junior high school biology classroom teaching efficiency, theauthor thoroughly inspected the situation of the biology classroom teaching, and found thatthere were many drawbacks in the current teaching situation which was quite serious. Themain problem is that the teacher always masters the class and speaks too much, while thestudents just passively accept the knowledge lead to poor performance. In this situation, theauthor puts forward the topic of " The application and study of the‘Learning Case GuidedStudy’in the biology classroom teaching of the junior middle school”.This topic theory basis includes, the program for the development of the new nationalcurriculum reform, the curriculum standard, constructing socialist theory, the theory ofproximal zone development etc. and many other latest research results about education fromboth domestic and abroad. To complete the subject research, the author mainly did thefollowing job: firstly in the preparation stage, design guidelines for writing, select the testobject, make test plan; secondly access relevant information ; thirdly in the thesis writingstage ,the author briefly expounded the research background, the significance of the problemintroduction, the problems to be solved, and the demarcation of the terms in the learning caseguided study; then detailedly analysed the content design of the learning case of the juniormiddle school biology,the five principles to write the learning case ,the five links of theclassroom teaching, the three standards of evaluating the learning case and the problems thatmay be faced when using the learning case; Fourthly in the processing modification stage, itfinally became a standard text.In order to make the viewpoint of this paper more valuable on academic,the authormade use of test ,questionnaire, and got the scientific data from the true, rigorous, typicalteaching cases, so as to reasonable and fully demonstrate the practical and theoreticalsignificance of the“Learning Case Guided Study”in the classroom teaching with rich andinformative material. The conclusion of this paper is :1,the“learning case guided study”could help the students to develop their interest ,and improve their learning initiative andenthusiasm ;2,on the basis of reducing students’homework,“the learning case guided study” improved their learning grades; 3, "Learning case guided study " can creat a harmoniousrelationship between teachers and students ;4, "Learning case guided study" to set up thestudents’ confidence, especially those students who are lack of confidence in biology study.
