Equal opportunity between men and women in job-hunting is always an important target in China. However, some serious problems are turned out during finding a job due to the transformation of the national enrollment policy, especially for female post-graduate with high level of knowledge, leading to the lost of human resources and the embarrassing of development of graduate career.To better understand the reason for those problems mentioned above, a detailed survey was conducted on the employment situation of female post-graduate. Ocean University of China, Qingdao University, Qingdao University of Science and Technology and Qingdao Technical University were selected in this study. The survey showed that an obvious weakness was existed for female post-graduates hunting a job compared to male post-graduates, and thus, their employment expectations and the course and quality of employment were relatively low as result of the gender dimension of employment. All those problems can be attributed to social background, talent supply pressure and employment unit market economic behavior.Today, female are playing a vital role in social construction and achieving great successes in every corner of the world, and deserved respect with the development of their contribution to their family and the society. Offering female post-graduates suitable jobs can not only improving family incomes, maintaining social stability, but also increasing women’s well-beings, and thus more attention and help should be given on the employment of female. Five suggestions to address female graduates: social support, government laws and regulations, comprehensive personnel training mode, the transformation of business ideas and female graduate students on their own efforts and in accordance with these reasons put forward corresponding countermeasures.
