With the rapid development of China’s urbanization, the population in rural areas migrates to urban cities constantly and therefore the number of population in urban cities increases continually. The acceleration of urbanization development has brought great influence on the rural education, which changes the teachers’ team in rural areas. This paper aims to discuss the changes and countermeasures of rural teachers’ team in Leping County with the process of urbanization.Through the actual investigation, we found that there are some changes in Leping rural teachers of urbanization. Firstly, the number of teachers tends to decline. For example, the number of rural teachers in Leping has been decreasing for years, and the rural middle school and rural town primary school teachers that far away from town are reducing. Secondly, the structure of teachers is not reasonable. Aging and younger teachers are more and in a serious condition, and the teacher title structure is not stable. Thirdly, the teachers move into the town on one-way. For example, rural teachers move into cities on one-way and “city direction”, they also show a structural features. The backbone teachers, intermediate of middle-aged teachers and young teachers are the main body of the moving trend. The rural teachers’ rate of moving into and moving out is imbalance. The wishes of moving for young and middle-aged teachers are enhanced. Fourthly, the opportunities for teachers’ training are increased day after day. Fifthly, the teachers’ professional pressures are also increased. Lastly, teachers’ work enthusiasm is reduced as well. According to further analysis, we found that the influenced factors of rural teachers are changed as following aspects: the existence of urban-rural dual structure, urban-rural population flowing in one direction, the economic gap of urban and rural level, the differences of salaries between urban and rural teachers, and the differences of teachers’ working environment of urban and rural areas.According to the reality of Leping rural teachers’ changes, this paper put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen the building of Leping rural teachers. Firstly, accelerating the process of urban and rural integration, and promoting the development of urban and rural education. Secondly, innovate the management system of rural teachers, and promoting the teachers’ double-way flowing. Thirdly, strengthening the teachers’ training gradually, and improving teachers’ qualities. Fourthly, improving the rural teachers’ salaries, and keeping good teachers in the countryside. Fifthly, optimizing the layout of rural school, and improving the rural schools’ running conditions. Lastly, strengthening the construction of campus culture, and improving the rural teachers’ working enthusiasm.
