Cloud computing is a technology for resources configuration and technology management, which comes out with the explosive growth of knowledge and rapid development of IT. Cloud computing has aroused widely public concern since its appearance, and its utility value is proved by the successful cloud solutions such as Google, IBM, Amazon and so on. The success of cloud computing in the enterprise draws attention from education, therefore some experts and scholars of educational technology make their efforts to introduce it to instruction and want to combine its advantaged in teaching with modern instructional ideal to improve the teaching and the development of informational instruction.Teaching of online curriculum is a better form of teaching to meet the educational needs, which develops from traditional teaching, and breaks the limitation of time and space in traditional teaching. At current researches on teaching of online curriculum has attained enough attention from scholars, and get much mature, however there are some problems of online curriculum as well. In this article firstly tries to make use of cloud computing in teaching of online curriculum that can be improved.There are mainly literature analysis method, questionnaire survey, interviews, content analysis method and case study in this paper, firstly, analyzes the status of research on cloud computing and online curriculum at home and abroad, secondly makes instructional designs of online curriculum based on cloud computing platforms—Google Apps suit, finally takes the related contents of "design and development of CAI multimedia courseware" for example to carry out the instruction. In hope of that our research could make people aware of cloud computing’s potential in online curriculum teaching, but also want other curriculums of educational technology receive reference and guidance from the cases.There are total five parts in this article and each part as follows:(1) Introduction. Mainly introduces the research background, research significance, research contents, research methods, research ideas and so on.(2)Theories summary. First, briefly introduces the definition and theoretical basis of online curriculum, then definition and usual platforms of cloud computing, finally the definition and teaching advantages of online curriculum based on cloud computing.(3) Instructional design of online curriculum based on cloud computing platform—combines Google Apps suite with online curriculum naturally, and design the instruction aiming at the characteristics of online curriculum based on cloud computing.(4) Implementation of cases in teaching for online curriculum based on Google Apps suit. Takes "design and development of CAI multimedia courseware" as an example, and designs the specific cases that used for teaching practice according to the curriculum, then investigates and analyzes its teaching effects by questionnaires and interviews, sums up the impacts cloud computing playing on teaching of online curriculum.(5) Summary and Outlook. The last part analyzes the innovation and inadequacies of this article, and proposes direction of further research and the work being done.
