The interactive whiteboard is an interactive and generative IT products and also provides integrated online teaching resources, new and modern teaching environment. It changes teacher-centered teaching mode which just teachers say and students listen. However, the old mode was replaced by new multimedia teaching system is one of set of video, audio, images, text, animation, web, and as a basis to build a multi-party interaction, equal and harmonious classroom teaching and learning environment. Since the nineties of the last century was brought into China, they aroused the attention and focus of educators and the majority of classroom teachers. A lot of teachers and scholars in China began to put into an interactive whiteboard used in primary and secondary education research and practice and get a few theoretical and practical results. However, the study on interactive whiteboard used in of high school history teaching is still lacking.Take the lesson "Revolution of1911" of PEP compulsory textbook for high school history teaching for example, the paper explores and researches the teaching theory and practical aspects on the interactive whiteboard used in high school history teaching. And the work and achievements of the paper is as follows:The advantage of the interactive whiteboard used in high school history teaching were summarized and analyzed. The paper used in high school history teaching from the teachers’point of view, the perspective of students and the discipline of history point of view three aspects; and also the paper detailed interpretation and analysis the teaching theory including the theory of constructivist learning theory, social learning theory, teaching theory and information technology and curriculum integration which how to use the interactive whiteboard in the high school history teaching.Combined with an interactive whiteboard interactive, generative, and other special functions and features,"Revolution of1911" teaching program is designed. The teaching program includes student basic situation analysis, textbook analysis, the teaching objectives, the specific processes design, etc. Finally the paper predictes teaching effectiveness.The lesson of "Revolution of1911"was taught using interactive whiteboard. The paper summes up the universal teaching experience and law by detailed comparison、 survey、data analysis、classroom record through two times history teaching using interactive whiteboard. Also the paper deep thinks about the teaching preparations and teaching effectiveness using the interactive whiteboard in high school history teaching. Finally the paper proposes the question and answer which how to use the interactive whiteboard in history teaching and provides a reference and guidance for the primary and secondary education teachers and academics who reaches how to use interactive in the teaching.
