Education informatization should be accelerated in order to keep pace with the development of science and social modernization. However, in mathematics teaching, the traditional class teaching method represented by the "computer + projector" method has been criticized for its inherent defects. So the mathematics class teaching should be supported by some more flexible and effective technological means. Interactive whiteboard provides the possibility to solve the problems.Information technology has many advantages in mathematics teaching with its own characteristics. Integrating interactive whiteboard into junior mathematics teaching can greatly improve mathematics teaching. Based on literature review and teaching practice, this thesis elaborates the effective combination of interactive whiteboard and the junior mathematics teaching, the research of teaching practice with interactive whiteboard, the value of interactive whiteboard in the junior mathematics teaching and the experience of the teaching practice with interactive whiteboard.This thesis mainly reviews the development of the interactive whiteboard, which provides the convenience for other teachers to understand the usage of the interactive whiteboard; compares the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of multimedia teaching methods, which provides solid foundation of optimization of information technology; probes into the application of the interactive whiteboard in junior mathematics teaching; comes up with the designs of mathematics teaching in using interactive whiteboard; finally figures out the shortages of the interactive whiteboard for the improvement of it.
