Special education in China is an important component of the National Education.Care about and support the special education, set up a special education guaranteesystem, is China’s education reform a top priority. Special physical education asspecial education elements, the disabled students body function recovery and socialadaptation ability plays an important role in the improvement of. The PE teachingenvironment is the carrier of special physical education, physical education teachersteaching and students are the important places for physical activity, in the specialphysical education and development plays a protection function. Therefore, toimprove the special education school sports teaching environment to enhance teachingquality, promote the disabled students’ physical and mental development, significant.This paper by using the method of literature, questionnaire and interviews withexperts, the method, southwest of Shandong Province Special Education School of53PE teachers were investigated. The results found that:1. Southwest of Shandong Province Special Education School of the PE teachersmeet the need of basic teaching quantity;PE teachers’ major is not harmonious;Professional PE teacher compare deficient; PE teachers to take part in scientificresearch activities of less.2. Southwest of Shandong Province Special Education School does not havespecial for special groups sports teaching material;The main content of physicalteaching with traditional sports primarily, but help disabled students well, make up forphysical and mental defect sports is less.3. Southwest of Shandong Province Special Education School of the physicaleducation teachers’ teaching method mainly with visual hand grammar is givenpriority; Physical education teaching organization form the main press naturaladministrative class to give priority to.4.
