When China advocates quality-oriented education constantly, children’s art education has attracted more and more attentions, which is extraordinarily extruding in social art education as the focus research object of many art educators. As the enrichment and supplementary of school art education, extramural children’s art education also attracts attention from all circles in society for its vigorous, actively explore the use of diverse teaching practice. Based on the teaching practice and observation in Nanchang Sihe Cultural Children’s Training Institution, taking representative extramural art teaching cases for children of7to9years old as the object, the author applied various teaching methods including observation method, situation method, and practice method, and analyzed whether there was difference in painting performance of children of7to9years old in different teaching method. Meanwhile, through discussion on the difference, the author expanded to the problem in extramural art education on this basis, and put forwards solution and suggestion with foresight meaning and constructive.The paper is consisted of introduction, content and conclusion.The first part is introduction, explaining the research background, research objective, and research method, and defining relevant concepts in this research.The second par is the content consisted of the first chapter, the second chapter, and the third chapter. Summary analysis on the institution was made in the first chapter including applied teaching methods such as observation method, situation method, practice method, discussion method, and case method. Secondly, several representative teaching cases in different teaching methods for children of7to9years old were analyzed and summarized. Analysis on painting result in different teaching methods was made in the second chapter. Through analysis on difference in painting difference of children under teacher-oriented teaching method, student-oriented teaching method and interactive teaching method between student and teacher, the result was proposed. The third part was suggestion and outlook. Through analysis on extramural art education case for children of7to9years old, an objective evaluation on multiple teaching methods of extramural children’s art education was made. Meanwhile, according to aspects including art teaching environment, content, relation between the art teachers and students, and the application and implementation of art teaching method, suggestion and explanation was made.The third part is the conclusion, summarizing the superiority and chance of extramural art education based on multiple teaching methods and promte the development of children’s art institutions, and corresponding problems and expressing good wish for extramural art education.
