Teaching assessment, an important part of teaching, leads teachers to set up the correct education goal and adopt reasonable teaching methods in order to realize the final goal of improving the teaching quality and promote the development of students. Because of the imperfect teaching evaluation system and the misunderstanding of fine arts college entrance examination system, the fine arts college entrance examination training schools face many problems in its running process.Through the analysis of the existing research results as well as the research of this study, this paper sums up the following several obvious questions on teaching evaluation of speciality students in the fine arts college entrance examination training school:ignore the evaluation of the learning process, ignore students’ self evaluation and ignore the qualitative evaluation; pursue many perceptual evaluation but ignore scientific evaluation. These problems lead the fine arts college entrance examination training schools to the exam-oriented education, which impedes the improvement of art teaching quality and disobey the teaching rule of the art course. Therefore, teachers and scholars should pay highly attention on the establishment of major courses teaching assessment of the fine arts college entrance examination training schools. This paper takes the high school speciality students of Chengdu Art Sound of Shu Culture Art School as a case study to carry on a research, and tries to introduce the Portfolio Evaluation method to the course assessment of the fine arts college entrance examination training schools. It will study the feasibility of the Portfolio Evaluation method, the methods of the Portfolio Evaluation and the specific operation procedures.The paper has been divided into four parts to investigate the Portfolio Evaluation in the fine arts college entrance examination training schools. The first part is to introduce the background information, significance, objectives and methods and procedures of the study. The second part is the practice of the Portfolio Evaluation in the fine arts college entrance examination training schools----a case study of Chengdu Art Sound of Shu Culture Art School. The third part analyzes the practice achievements and reflection of the Portfolio Evaluation applied to the fine arts college entrance examination training schools. The last part gives out the suggestion. By the case study of the art speciality students in Chengdu Art Sound of Shu Culture Art School, the study has made certain achievements in the attempt of the he Portfolio Evaluation applied in the fine arts college entrance examination training schools. Besides, the paper makes a research on the methods and procedures of the the Portfolio Evaluation, of whose practical value has been affirmed with the improvement of the teaching quality. It provides practical evidence to the research of the teaching evaluation system of the fine arts college entrance examination training schools. By the reflection of the practice, the paper five suggestions to other teaches and scholars. The practice proves that it has realistic value of establishing the Portfolio Evaluation in the fine arts college entrance examination training schools with reasonable practice schemes if it is in the right condition. Finally, according to the practice results and reflection, the paper puts forward some suggestion on the Portfolio Evaluation, hoping that it can make any contributions to the development of the study of the teaching evaluation in the fine arts college entrance examination training schools. However, the paper doesn’t make a deep study on the evaluation standards, so it needs further research and practice.
