| According to the New Curriculum of Senior high school, this essay explores thedifferences between the assignment of the composition in the college entrance examinationand the training of the composition. The assignment includes the check, the form, the typeand the content of the topic. However, the training of the composition includes thedifficulty, the content,.the degree of novelty, the type and the teaching methods.The differences decide that examination composition is not the standard of thetraining of the composition but the New Curriculum. The study of the examinationcomposition trend indicates that the ability of writing is more important. The topic isclosely related to students’ daily life and it is full of novelty. So, the copying of some oldmodels is not accepted nowadays. The training should focus on students themselves,takingtheir ages and the society they belong to into consideration. Students’ level of knowledgeand ability should be correctly evaluated.Meanwhile, students’ observation,imagination, thinking ability, ability of expression and designing ability should also becultivated.
