The game teaching is based on using different kinds of games in class to achievevarious teaching aims or objectives. In other words, this kind of teaching aims to makestudents learn the knowledge unconsciously by constructing vivid and lively classroomenvironment and promoting them to involve in fierce competition.“The game teachingmethod" is a kind of new and effective teaching method, which skillfully unites"game" with "teaching"。Game teaching generally refers to combining teachingcontents with the games, making children learn by playing and acquire knowledgethrough learning. Mr Chen Heqin said:" The game is an indispensable activity in one’slife. People always like playing games regardless of their age or gender. In times oflearning, if we can turn boring learning activities into interesting games, study is goingto become more entertaining and enjoyable, isn’t it?"According to the above point ofview, the writer aims to explore effective game teaching strategies used in high level ofprimary school, combining daily observation and case analysis.Based on Constructivism, Cooperative Learning, the theory of MultipleIntelligences and several other related theories, this study aims to draw the conclusionthrough observing and analyzing the game teaching cases.The study is divided into six parts. The first part studies the cause of the problem,the theoretical and practical value, literature review, research contents, structure of thispaper and research method. The second part is about the definition of related concepts,of which the game, game teaching, teaching strategy, high grade of primary school iskey concepts. The third part is about the relevant game teaching theories. Its purpose isto find how to apply those theories to the game teaching by analyzing Constructivism,Cooperative Learning, theory of Multiple Intelligence and several related theories. Thefourth part is the analysis of the game teaching case from randomly selected primaryschool high section. The fifth part is Effective teaching strategy game. Through theobservation and analysis of cases, the writer draws effective game teaching strategiesin high grade of primary school. The sixth part is Game teaching strategy application。The seventh part is the summary and reflection. The study results are as follows:(1)The educator should design and select their teaching games based on thechildren’s psychological and physiological characteristics, teaching contents, learningenvironment and the games’ applicability.(2) The game teaching, compared with traditional teaching, requires the educatorshould possess the abilities such as performance, drawing, singing and dancing as wellas the traditional teaching qualities.(3) A successful teaching game scene should be very exciting; in which childrencan have a good command of teaching contents through playing relaxed and joyfulgames. What’s more, teachers should establish free, equal and harmonious relationshipwith their students, advocating the belief that teaching should be not confined in afixed pattern and the teaching materials should also be used in more flexible ways.According to the effective strategies of game teaching by action research, thispaper find that the application of effective strategies of game teaching helps to improvestudents’ learn interests and learn results, then identify the validity of the effectivestrategies of game teaching.
