With the continuously push in forwarding the reform of basic education curriculum, the resources of kindergarten art education become more and more important. It is urgent to refresh the kindergarten art education concept, develop the art education resources, and optimize the content of kindergarten art education. In ethnic minority areas, there are a lot of outstanding folk art resources, arts and crafts resources which have historical value, practical value and aesthetic value in one. They can make great difference in the kindergarten art education. Therefore, their development and utilization are not only the heritage of folk culture, but also a substance in kindergarten arts education, and will provide guidance and reference value in practice.This study used the case study method to discuss the use of folk arts and crafts in the development of kindergarten art education resource. This article closely linked to the idea of the kindergarten curriculum reform. It takes A kindergarten art education in Fenghuang County for example, using literature, interviews, observation, etc to find out the development, utilization status, successful experience and inadequacies in the use of folk arts and crafts for kindergarten art education resource. And will give recommendations to tackle problems. The full text is divided into three parts:First part:Introductions. Ask questions, described the theoretical basis of the study, the purpose and significance of the study, the study of objects and methods, previous research overview and defines the concept.Second part:Development and status quo and analysis in the kindergarten arts education with arts and crafts resources. First, described the structure and characteristics of a kindergarten; Second analyze the structure and characteristics of arts and crafts resources; Third A survey of arts education in the arts and crafts resources development and utilization of the status quo----mainly from three aspects which are the present situation of teachers perceive, the way of development for the present situation, development and utilization content; Fourth a survey of arts education in the arts and crafts resources development and utilization of the status quo analysis, summed up the successful experiences and problems in a kindergarten development and utilization of the resources of folk arts and crafts, and the problem reasons.Third part:Recommendations for arts education, arts and crafts resources development and utilization. First enhancing the artistic quality of teachers’ arts and crafts tasty; then rich nursery of arts education, arts and crafts resources development and utilization of the contents, next to develop diversified use of arts and crafts resources; last strengthen the cooperation between the kindergarten and social institutions.
