The author choose Guiyang city community sports facilities, staff, projects and other development as the research object, Investigation the urban community sports current situation, understanding the Guiyang city community sports present situation and its characteristics. And analysis the community sports activities’s factors, in order to find out the effect of community sports development of the deep-seated reasons, looking to update, better development potential, so that the community sports and take the road of sustainable development. This paper uses the sociology, sports science, statistics, psychology and other related scientific theories to be the method of literature review, expert interview, questionnaire survey, data statistics, logic analysis, induction and deduction, understanding the Guiyang city community sports comprehensive, systematic analysis and research. Guiyang city community residents take part in community sports according to seasonal changes and the different seasons, and their capita training rhythm and characteristics are also different, its have very strong seasonal characteristic, there are many people take part in sports in summer.4. Currently, the residents of the community sports facilities satisfaction is not high, sports management status evaluation is also low. Guiyang city community sports facilities lack more, large sports stadium is also very scarce, especially the lack of indoor sports venues and sports facilities should be. At the same time, community sports activity basically has no fixed source of funding.5.
