Originated from and implied in daily life, moral education can not be separated from life. Otherwise, it will be meaningless and ineffective. A questionnaire survey shows that high school moral education is seriously separated from life, which is chiefly manifested as follows. Idea instead of reality is emphasized in setting its goal; knowledge instead of life is stressed in its contents; schooling instead of experiencing is focused in its method; Testing instead of culturing is stressed in its evaluation; Classroom teaching instead of atmosphere is emphasized and so on. The separation is due to both historical and realistic reasons.Finally, on the basis of literature research and survey data analysis, the way of the five kinds of colleges and universities of moral education:regression from a focus on intellectual and moral culture of "moral saints" return to the culture of "moral person"; to the emphasis on "moral" of life; from moving bricks moral return to lead a moral life; return to the "life world" from the "ivory tower"; from "summative" return to the formative evaluation."...
