Teachers’ leadership development is of practical significance tothe improvement of the teaching quality and the present curriculumreform. These days, with the development of society and the curriculumreform, more and more attention are drawn to the development ofteachers’ leadership by educators and teachers. According to thepresent research situation, the previous research mainly relies ondocuments and research surveys. Thus, how to put it into practiceremains to be seen. What is worse, there is little such teaching practicein art. Therefore, this essay mainly focuses on what kind of leadershipteachers need and how to practice teachers’ leadership in dailyteaching to adjust to the new teaching work under new circumstances.Teachers’ leadership, as a matter of fact, refers to theteachers’ influence upon school activities. In other words, it refers to acertain kind of comprehensive influence upon those who are led (that is,other members of the activity). Such kind of comprehensive influencecomes from the interaction between teachers’ academic ability andnon administrative elements (like teachers’ knowledge, abilities,emotions), which is characteristic of non administration,comprehensiveness, dynamics and plasticity.Teachers’ leadership plays a vital role in developing teachers’potential along with maximizing teachers’ Initiative, enthusiasm,creativity to promote the teaching quality. Based on researching on thestrategies of teachers’ leadership, this essay mainly focus its attention onhow art teachers apply it to teaching, from which teachers’ leadershipcan prove significant and practical.
