The high level teaching not only needs the highly qualified teacher,but also teaches the student how to learn and makes them possess the independent study ability.The teaching of mathematics in junior middle school should aim at strengthening students' mathematical thinking ability,stimulating students' interest in learning,forming good learning habits and cultivating students' ability of autonomic learning.Cultivate students' independent learning ability in order that students have the ability to find problems,put forward problems,analyze and solve them,and have the learning ability of sustainable development.Taking the eighth grade geometry teaching as an example,this paper studies the factors that affect the junior middle school students' ability of autonomous learning in mathematics.It also studies the concrete method on improving the junior high school students' mathematics autonomous learning ability effectively.On the basis of literature research,the paper used the investigation and research method to find out the problems,and analyzed the factors affecting junior high school students' mathematics autonomous learning ability,such as students' low interest in learning,students' unclear learning objectives,students' learning methods are not applicable,etc.This paper explores the concrete methods to effectively improve junior middle school students' mathematics autonomous learning ability,designs teaching activities based on this,and tests the effectiveness of the methods in teaching.The research shows that the methods of cultivating students' autonomous learning ability are as followings :(1)Put flipped classroom into use for the sake of stimulating learning interest.Teachers use flipped classroom in the preview stage before the class,which can improve students' learning motivations and stimulate their interests in learning.(2)Set appropriate learning objectives and divide examples and exercises.Analyze the examples and exercises in the book,compare the new knowledge to the old knowledge,construct the logical relationship for students,and complete the learning goal.(3)Cultivate thinking ability and learn to summarize.Cultivate students' creative thinking ability and attach importance to students' ability of induction and summary in geometry teaching.
