The essence of education is to promote the all-arounddevelopment of people. For a long time, affected by many factors, thedomestic basic education has been from the essential requirements. Inrecent decades,with the rapid development of Chinas economy andthe improving of the comprehensive national strength,"individualteaching" has become a hot issue of Chinas basic education reformand research more and more. But in practical teaching, the realindividual teaching is difficult to implement. This not only with currentexamination-oriented education system, but also with traditional andentrenched "uniform education". At present our teaching has two majorforms of collective teaching of classroom and individual teaching,individual teaching not only has one-to-one form, but also hasone-to-many form. collective teaching of classroom is common in ourschool education, a small number of individual teaching only exist ineducation and counselling organizations. collective teaching andindividual teaching have their own characteristics and suit differentdemands. This article is through showing individual teaching cases onthe basis of theoretical study, analyses and researches separately fromthe teachers teaching strategy methods, students learning objectivesand features, mainly revealing the differences and advantages ofindividual teaching and collective teaching of classroom and puttingforward that with the rapid economic development, we will enter"concerning individuals" age. Individual teaching can consider thedifferences of students from all kinds of aspects and we can teach thestudents according to their aptitude, promoting the all-arounddevelopment of students and reaching the essential requirments ofeducation.This thesis mainly has the following several parts: Part Ⅰ: the method and meaning of research, to put forwardproblems, to answer the problems of why to research and how toresearch.Part Ⅱ: the basic principles of individualized teaching, to answer thequestion that what is individualized teaching, to tease the connotation,characteristics, theoretical foundation and elements of individualteaching.Part three: to show the actural teaching cases in the teachingprocess. The cases include the analysis of learners learningcharacteristics, the research of existing problems, the teachingstrategies of solving these problems, teaching methods and resultsachieved.Part four: on the basis of actual cases, to analyse the differences ofindividual teaching and collective teaching of classroom, to reveal theadvantage of individual teaching, to provide necessary inspiration andreference in the future teaching.Part IV: conclusion.
