Elaborate course construction project of MOE almost nine years since it started, and has been building all kinds of elaborate courses at about twenty thousand. Elaborate course construction projects not only in the fruitful, also have many problems, such as some of the elaborate courses built for evaluation, but not pay attention to use and continuous updating and maintenance, other elaborate courses’ sharing scope is limited within the school, failing to meet the course construction’s original intention. These issues reflects the series weakness in use of elaborate courses. With the development of network technology, distance collaborative learning based on the Internet proposed solutions for the effective use of college elaborate courses, this study is based on such a research basis. This study make use of the online learning platform of the national elaborate course " Modern Distance Education ", use of distance collaborative learning mode, by colleges teachers and learners in different place to participate in the implementing of course in order to explore the way of effective use of elaborate courses, expand the scope of use of the course, further improve the exemplary role of the course.This study use of the research methods such as case analysis, investigation, action research, in order to finish the following practice research:Firstly, this study set the target of course implementation by analyze the research purpose, and propose evaluation methods and criteria. On this basis, by investigate the main teachers and e-Tutors of" Modern Distance Education ", analyze the process of course implementation within the school in nearly three years, summary course implementation program, and perfect this program from learning content setting, learning activities organization, learning assessment setting and so on, based on distance collaborative learning model.Secondly, organize teachers and students of Educational technology from Zhejiang Normal University and Jimei University to carry out specific course implementation, by use Moodle online learning platform of the course, and carry out three times distance collaborative learning according to three pre-set learning activities programs. Evaluate learning effect of the current round by analyzing learning process, investigating course participants and so on after the end of each round of collaborative learning activities, and adjust the course implementation program to enter the next round of collaborative learning.Thirdly, after the end of the three learning activities, establish the questionnaire survey outline and interview outline according to the pre-set course target and evaluate methods Then, take a full investigation to all main teachers, e-Tutors and learners, evaluate validity of course implementation and analyze the course implementation whether reach of the desired goals. At the same time, summarize the impact factors of this elaborate course implement according to survey course participants and analyze course implementation process. These obstacle factors include different levels of learners, difference attitudes of teachers in course implementation, inadequate learning evaluation methods, etc.Finally, according to the evaluate results of practice and summarize to propose two conclusions of this study. First, use the way of distance collaborative learning can achieve effective use of college elaborate courses. Second, summed up several key factors which effect the effectively carry out of the inter-school distance collaborative learning, such as effective design of learning activities, comprehensive learning support, perfect learning evaluate, etc. At the same time, summarize the shortcomings in this study and propose several directions on this study which worth to further study.
