Due to the impact of enrollment expansion in higher education, the fact that the increase of college graduates far exceeds the demand for graduates in economic development growth results in the worsening employment of college graduates, featured by the low employment rate of college students and low-income status. While the vast majority of business administration graduates do not fully meet the market requirements in professional core competitiveness, these graduates suffer more.Business administration is closely linked with the market economy and the culture of business administration students also plays an important role in promoting economic development. Therefore, research on the training model of business administration under the market economy conditions is a very valuable theoretical study. Based on the development of higher education in our country building a socialist market economic system, especially in this field of business administration, this study following the development of higher education law, with a detailed analysis of the relationship between supply and demand balance, provides a theoretical basis on direction and goals for business administration major students on campus and suggestions for improvements in terms of practical ability and employ ability.With my previous work experience, survey on employing organization and recruited graduates, interviews, effective analysis of the survey results, combined with the literature available, this thesis studies mainly on the difference and elments between graduates’ practical ability and employability and the needs of employing organization, and suggests what followed to meet the challenges in the area of practical ability and employability for business administration major students:Improving the higher education system, optimizing the team of teachers, integrating practice resources, perfecting career guidance system and cultivating students’ learning-practice-employment awareness. All these efforts made in this thesis is not only a practical thinking based on the worsing reality of the employment of university students, but also a forward-looking socio-economic attempt.
