Reflective teaching is the new curriculum which advocates and meets the new curriculum concept of the new teaching methods. With the deepening of the implementation of the new curriculum, education teaching requires higher and higher teaching ability of teachers. And the reflective teaching is one of the important ways for teachers to improve their teaching ability. Based on solving problems in teaching, it advocates ’reflection from experience and learning from action’. The implementation of the new curriculum makes more and more prominent contributions to the professional development of teachers and students as well as the advance of teaching quality. Meanwhile it also complies with the new curriculum concept. To implement quality education, teachers should respond to the teaching practice positively and carry out reflective teaching seriously. Teachers, served as the role of model, should constantly reflect on themselves to make a breakthrough for their all behavior will have a profound impact on students in the future. So, the research about reflective teaching has profound theoretical and practical significance.The present thesis consists of five chapters. Combined with the new curriculum reform, Chapter1puts forward the necessity and importance of this research; Through consulting relevant books and documents, it gives a summary and evaluation on the domestic and foreign reflective teaching research, and puts forward the research methods, the research implications, research hypotheses, research object, and study materials. Chapter2, on the basis of the previous research, the writer expounds and defines the reflective teaching concept, characteristics, objectives and model, which provides theoretical foundation for this thesis. As for Chapter3, with the questionnaire and interview on current situation of reflective teaching about the new chemistry teachers in middle schools in Yuexi area of Guangdong, it carries on the arrangement and deep analysis and learn about the new chemical teachers’reflection teaching situation and the necessity of implementation of reflective teaching for the development of new chemistry teachers. And it finds the problems and solutions of the implementation of reflective teaching. In Chapter4, according to the third part, the author put reflective teaching into practice for a semester in Tianxin No.1High School in Changsha, which adopts tremendous reflective teaching strategies and methods and does some chemical reflective teaching case analysis. Through the data, it analyzes the statistics of implementation of reflective teaching of the student’s grade change and the impact on teacher’s professional development, and teaching ability development. Chapter5puts forward some practical suggestions and strategies of reflective teaching implementation.To sum up, this thesis makes a general summary and points out the defect existing in the process of research and makes a prospect of reflective chemical teaching in the future.
