The modern education theory thinks:the real meaning of education is to discover the value of humanity, play of human potential, development of the human personality. The open classroom teaching starting point is that, according to the course characteristics, to meet the needs of personality development of students, teachers, students as the main body of teaching, to enable students to actively participate in learning, from various angles to explore their acquisition, consolidate and deepen the knowledge, thinking, found the problem and actively to seek a solution to the problem method of. Open teaching to physical education teaching, teaching methods, teaching goal and the ability of students, has become an urgent problem.Based on the Physical Education Institute of Hunan Teachers University2009level of sports training gymnastics class students as the research object, by means of the experimental method, the literature material law, mathematical statistics, expert interview, questionnaire, and other research methods, mainly in the experiment on the sports professional open teaching to cultivate students’ability of independent innovation ability, practice teaching, cohesion and the spirit of unity and cooperation of the experimental research, research thought:1. Open teaching student-centered, teacher-led, active exploration and research, discovery problem, solve a problem; in order to group as a unit, with each other, obedient arrangement, tolerant fault, peaceful coexistence, for a common goal.2. Open type teaching can effectively improve students’ language skills, classroom instruction, demonstration, teaching organization and management capabilities; can effectively cultivate students’ autonomous, innovation ability; is beneficial to enhance students’ cohesion and team spirit.
