Consumer life is one of the most significant research topics of Cultural Anthropology. This paper taking Darhan Ulla village in Arhurchin at Inner Mongolia as a case study. Discussed since the end of Qing dynasty consumer life of herdsman. In this paper, author combining the field survey first-hand data with results of previous research, undertake relatively comprehensive discussion and analysis on the herdsman consumption life from the aspects of production, exchange, circulation and consumption of the economic activities, Production activities concluding the traditional economy of animal husbandry and service industry which with the rise of industrial development exchange and circulation field including consumer market,exchange, gift flow between herders to herders and other aspects. Analyzed of herdsmen’s daily consumption in detail.The thesis is composed of three parts and parts Ⅱ、part Ⅲ、part Ⅳandpart Ⅴ is the main body.Part Ⅰ Introduction This part introduce the reason of choosing this subject、 meaning and purpose、related research and research methods.Part Ⅱ This part to comb out the since the end of Qing dynasty herdsmen’s in pastoral area of Inner Mongolia of trade business and consumer life.Part Ⅲ Discuss the economic life and changing life style in Darhan Ulla herdsmen.Part Ⅳ Analysis the Darhan Ulla herdsmen’daily consumption and consumption area, point out the reason of the credit consumption and loan for consumption is short cash.Part Ⅴ Based on the above-mentioned with my collected data, analysis the consumption structure and the consumption character with Mongolian herdsmen, point out Mongolian herdsmen under the state policy and economic globalization pressure must to face the variety challenge and many change.
