The12th Five-Year Plan pointed out that the rational allocation ofpublic education resources, focus to rural, remote, poor areas, andminority areas to speed up closing the education gap. Promote thebalanced development of compulsory school of overall planninglayout; promote compulsory education schools standardizationconstruction, to establish basic standards and monitoring of the qualityof the state compulsory education system effectively reduce theacademic burden on students. The views of CPC Central Committeeand State Council on strengthening youth sports and enhance youngpeople physical clearly states:“To strengthen the construction ofphysical education teachers, set up physical education andextracurricular sports activities with the need, fully serviced with astrong physical education teachers."As the physical education teacheris practitioners and the core elements of the school sports work, hasbecome the focus of attention in this period of social, sportsqualifications of teachers is measured by the level of physicaleducation teachers, therefore, how to enhance the education level ofthe school physical education teachers, to strengthen a high-qualityphysical education teacher back-up personnel training is the toppriority of this opinion. We reviewed a lot of literature found that verylittle research on the topic of Chinas compulsory education full-timesports teacher qualifications, hence the significance of this study.Attaches great importance to the background of the quality of basiceducation and school sports, youth physical development byeducators and the educated and their parents, This article aims tofull-time PE teacher’s educational attainment of Chinas compulsoryeducation for a thorough understanding and analysis, the comparisonbetween different regions of China and the gap between sports and other disciplines. Provide valuable reference for Chinas educationauthorities about balanced configuration of sports teachers. Bystudying Obtain the following conclusions: sports teacher qualificationslevel of the stage of compulsory education in China as a whole showedan increasing trend, highly educated PE teachers gradually increased,gradually reduce the number of teachers with low academicqualifications, the gap between sports and other subjects graduallyreduce. The ratio of the number of full-time physical education teachersand the number gradually become smaller lower. The sports teacherqualifications and the ratio of student-teacher economicallydeveloped areas are better than the backward areas. The reason is:the unbalanced nature of our regions economic development,follow-up effects of the distribution system, the lack of regulations andpolicies, college physical education graduate employment destinationchoices and sports disciplines attention factor.
