Design And Analysis Of Sand Table Simulation Teaching System For Vocational College

Higher vocational colleges are the important bases of cultivating high-qualitytalents, as well as the important parts of Chinese higher education. In recent years, ithas been becoming more and more difficult for the students of economy andmanagement field, especially in accounting field, to understand the actual conditionsof enterprise in higher vocational college. They lack opportunity of exercises and theactual participation due to practical limitation in accounting. So it is necessary todevelop the course of simulate operating activities of enterprise. Considering thestrong function and widespread application of EXCEL in dealing with the financialaccounting problems and its easily operating, we utilize it to design practical teachingmanagement system of ERP sand table simulation experiment. It will help students tounderstand the operation of enterprises, the competitiveness of enterprises, the limitedenterprises resources, and the strategy and key success factors.This paper discusses the background, the situation, and the development trendof sand table teaching management system. Then the purpose and significance of sandtable teaching system is analyzed. After comparing the advantages and disadvantagesof EXCEL and VBA, and viewing the features of the higher vocational education, wedetail business process and requirement analysis, and then design the sand tableteaching management system using EXCEL as the development platform, The schemeemphasizes on the application of EXCEL and VBA program architecture advantages,and the existing function and VBA programming language for the architecture designof the sand table teaching management system. After a general architecture and itscomponents are built up, a vocational college is chosen as a research object instance.The detailed requirement analysis of business process, user demand, and systemfunctions are expressed to build the structure model of the sand table teachingmethods for higher vocational college management system. After that, the specificrelational model, case model, system function, and database are demonstrated.The teaching method based on ERP sand table simulation is a newly pattern ofvocational teaching. This article designs sand table teaching management system byEXCEL. Through this designed course, we have got a more deep-rootedunderstanding of the importance of EXCEL in financial, and have learnt how to usethe EXCEL to deal with the various problems of economic management and financial problems. Through the simulative practice teaching method we can develop studentsthe ability to apply for comprehensive knowledge, capital utilization consciousness,organization, management and decision-making skills, teamwork spirit, which willimprove the students’ business success rate.
