In resent years, with the continuous expansion of the postgraduate enrollment, interdisciplinary graduate team becomes stronger. Interdisciplinary postgraduates not only across A-level discipline, some even admits to the "big line". Although interdisciplinary postgraduates have the advantage of another discipline’s background, they are relatively unfamiliar with the current major, compared with the non-interdisciplinary postgraduates, knowledge structure, ways of thinking are very different, these factors have a greater impact on professional adaptability of the interdisciplinary postgraduates. Therefore, understanding the present situation and its influencing factors of the interdisciplinary postgraduates in the professional learning process, exploring the methods and paths of improving the interdisciplinary postgraduates’professional adaptability, promoting interdisciplinary postgraduates more quickly taught, has important theoretical and practical significance.In this study, make Zhejiang normal university’s postgraduates as the research object, make postgraduates’professional adaptability scale as the research tool, survey and visit interdisciplinary postgraduates, using the related theory of education and psychology, realize their adaptive current situation, then put forward the path of improving the professional adaptability. Based on the previous studies of the professional adaptability, consider that professional adaptability mainly refers to the individual on the basis of their abilities and personality traits, through the interaction with the major and its environment, adjust their knowledge and learning behavior in order to achieve the equilibrium state of the internal and external major learning environment, so that in the best of development. This study consists of six parts, the first part is an introduction, including the origin, significance, research design, definition and literature review; second part is a theoretical basis; the third part is an interdisciplinary postgraduates’professional adaptability survey, including questionnaire design, test, formally applied and analysis. The fourth part is current situation of the interdisciplinary postgraduates’professional adaptability and the reasons for analysis; the five part is the countermeasures in order to improve the ability of the interdisciplinary postgraduates’professional adaptability; the six part is the lack of research and the outlook for future research.The result shows that, only from professional adaptability perspective, interdisciplinary postgraduates’professional adaptability level is not high, and overall weaker than the non-interdisciplinary postgraduates, mainly in the lower professional acceptance, lack of motivation to learn, learning enthusiastic is not high and so on. What’s more, there is a big difference in gender, grade, major types, as well as graduate purpose.Analysis of the interdisciplinary postgraduate professional adaptability, find that interdisciplinary postgraduates didn’t play out their advantage of another disciplinary background, their professional adaptability is lower than non-interdisciplinary. The main causes include postgraduates and schools, interdisciplinary postgraduates’ disciplinary basis is relatively weak, the school cultivation mode is too unified, and tutor targeted guidance needs to be strengthened.In order to enhance the interdisciplinary postgraduates’professional adaptability, schools, tutors and students should make the appropriate adjustment. Schools should strengthen the diverse training, optimize graduate program and curriculum system, build multi-disciplinary exchange and communication platform; tutors should strengthen personalized guidance to help the interdisciplinary postgraduates to recognize their own strengths and weaknesses; students should strengthen the self-adjustment, understand and face themselves correctly, improve the self-learning ability.
