On Promoting The Effectiveness Of College Students’ Career Planning Education

In order to solve the employment problems of college students and improve their ability to find jobs, in recent years, China’s colleges and universities have set up career planning courses and regard career planning education as an important means to improve college students’employment ability. The effectiveness of the career planning education is worthy of our attention. Therefore, a series of investigations have been done and have found such problems as inadequate teaching force, poor teaching management, and insufficient research on the localization of career planning education, which lead to the ineffectiveness of career planning education. Besides, many students do not have a proper understanding of their career planning, their own characteristics and employment environment, and lack proper positioning on job selection and employment. Hence, it is of great significance to make an in-depth study of the effectiveness of the career planning education and actively explore the measures for the improvement of the effectiveness of the career planning education so as to help college students to plan their life career scientifically, which will do good to our country, the society and the students themselves. Based on the problems mentioned above, this paper holds on the one hand that the government should exert its positive role as a baton, providing the career planning education with a good system guarantee, building a positive social environment of public opinion, and mobilize the multi-party collaboration of the government, the university and the enterprises, and on the other hand that every means must be tried persistently to do a good job in college students’career planning education such as focusing on the enhancement of the level of education, strengthening the teaching force, perfecting the educational quality evaluation system, building a social practice platform for college students, and innovating educational methods.
