EQ, short for Emotional Quotient, is one’s state and ability to cognize and master his or others’emotions, and is an important indicator for healthy personality and integrated development. However, the traditional education has attached unilateral importance to knowledge and ability and overlooked the fostering of EQ. As a primary EQ course, the teaching of politics in high school, contains rich overt and recessive EQ resources, therefore it ought to take the responsibility and obligation for students’EQ fostering. The paper tries to introduce the experiential learning method—"Outward Training" into the EQ fostering process of teaching of politics in high school. It can guide students to experience, review, share, introspect, revise, and advance, thus to foster their EQ.The paper uses literature method, and inductive method and other methods comprehensively to define the concept of EQ fostering and outward training, and to explore the solid theoretical foundation for the paper. Through questionnaire and induction and other ways, the paper also analyzes the necessity and feasibility of EQ fostering by outward training, which provides the practical foundation for the research. In addition, I provide a reference for the EQ fostering by outward training in teaching of politics in high school from operation procedure and operation forms and, I have also made further thoughts and reached certain conclusion on the basis of practice.
