Abstract:In recent years, higher education has made rapid improvement in China and the enrollments of the students in this field have been expanded. The large scale has affected the faculty members and the education budget in university; the nature of Higher education itself has made the majors facing a big change, but all the changes still feel their ways. Therefore, to change and improve the cultivating model of the higher education postgraduate must be enforced.This thesis takes the higher education postgraduate group in S university as the focal points, through the qualitative research, use the deep interview to describe the living conditions of this group and know their minds. This thesis discovers the main problems in the development of the higher education from the view of the students, and then uses the specialty of higher education to describe the phenomenon.The thesis concludes five chapters:Chapter1:introduce the origin of the research, the definition of core concepts that are higher education, postgraduate education cultivating model and so on,organize and analyze the ready research at home and aboardChapter2:the research process. Choose the research object and the method on the base of the pre-research, and then think over the process on the four rules to make it better.Chapter3:the survey on the conditions of the higher education postgraduate. Use the deep interview to find out their minds and real feeling. During the whole part, tutor, course and the students themselves are the most important ones.Chapter4:the analysis for the present state of the students. The specialty of higher education is a crucial part in describing the problems in the developing road. To make the best use of the theory and practice in higher education field is a good way to solve a few problems.Chapter5:the thoughts on the development of the higher education postgraduate in S university. This thesis closely bases on the own characteristics of S University, and then puts forward some concrete proposals as follows:further defining the aim of higher education training; better reinforcing the tutor group; taking ways to promote the postgraduates’ability to analyze and solve problems; and make the students themselves to self-thinking and self-improvement.
