Today’s undergraduate, most were born after1990, are the favored generation by God. On one hand, they grow up in the age which benefits from sharing the results of Reform and Opening Up. Both material life and spiritual life are rich for them. On the other hand, it is the unique generation to take on the heavy responsibilities of promoting the rise of the Chinese nation courageously and building a socialist harmonious society. Therefore, their own emotional state, as well as their physical, mental and personality development, affects the entire Chinese nation’s rejuvenation and the motherland’s prosperity in future.. Although the theorists and educators within the education sector have recognized the importance of emotional education, the colleges, especially some special independent colleges have not taken full attention to the role of emotional education. This article intends to research the undergraduate’s emotional education in independent colleges as a special school-running subject.By analysing the effect of emotional education in independent colleges, the causes and existing problems, an effective way of undergraduate’s emotional education in independent colleges will be found. Moreover, it wiill provide some useful ideas for the present undergraduate’s emotional education in independent collegesThis article is divided into four parts:Part1:Make the definition of related concepts. Start from the intension of emotion, and explain the meaning and characteristics of emotional education and independent colleges.Part2:explicate the content of emotional education and its importance to the independent colleges’own existence and development.Part3:By analysing the existing problems in the process of undergraduate’s emotional education in independent colleges, find the main reason which caused those problems. Therefore, we can know and hold the undergraduate’s emotional education status in the private independent colleges.Part4:according to the analysis in the first three parts, propose some effective and pointed means to perfect the undergraduate’s emotional education in independent colleges. Namely explicit the goal of emotional education, which is changing the concepts, establishing a"people-oriented" guiding ideology, improving student’s cognitive ability, implementing the "Talents School" strategy, constructing of high-quality teachers, setting up a new system, improving the party institution-building, buiding a diversified emotional education system, setting special funds, establishing a stable social practice base and so on. As a result, we can achieve the multi-faceted perfection of undergraduate’s emotional education in independent colleges from the whole point. |
