Cooperative learning which advocated the new round curriculum reform of our country is a way of learning. The way of learning scientific use the mutual cooperation between teachers and students and among students, especially between students and students, cooperative learning has obvious effect in improving students’ learning attitude, enhance students’ sense of responsibility, training students’ sense of cooperation, teamwork skill and improving the students’ cognitive level. But cooperative learning is a kind of new teaching theory and strategy, which is began in our classroom teaching of our country in the1990s. Many scholars did a lot of research about cooperative learning in the last20years, throughout the study:the cooperative learning practice research was less than theory research; The scope of the study are more concentrated in the primary and junior high school, less research on the senior middle school; The object are mostly concentrated in the English, Chinese and mathematics of these three disciplines while less in physical discipline; more macro research on cooperative learning while less on the specific implementation process studies. which makes cooperative learning is not ideal in high school physics teaching, the advantages of cooperative learning can not be fully realized, that affect the specific implementation and smooth development of a new round of physical curriculum reform.In view of this, This study, combined with the characteristics of physics discipline in senior middle school and based on the theory of cooperative learning, builds a model of cooperative learning about physics in senior middle school, which is more reasonable and easy to operate. So that it can provide practical guidance for the effective implementation of cooperative learning on physics teaching in senior middle school and the improvement of students’ comprehensive quality, and promote the development of a new round of physics curriculum reform. The research details as follows:1.Based on domestic and international relevant cooperative learning research literature, analysis the meaning of the cooperative learning, the theoretical foundation and basic concepts, research the basic elements of cooperative learning.2.On the basis of theoretical study and learn from the success of cooperative learning, discuss five issues we should pay attention for the effective implementation of cooperative learning about physics in senior middle school teaching:the role of the teacher, the construction of cooperation group, the cultivation of students’ awareness and skills of cooperation, grasping the timing of the cooperation study and class management of cooperative learning.3. Propose the design route in the physics teaching of cooperative learning. Construct a five-stage high school physics cooperative learning mode, on the basis of theoretical studies, the teaching cases of cooperative learning in high school physics are gave.4. Five stages of the physical teaching cooperative learning model are practiced four months.In the statistical sense, the experimental class was significantly better than those of lasses in students’interest, cooperative awareness and academic achievement, Which showed from the teaching experiments. So three conclusions can be drawed as follow:1. The application of cooperative learning in physics teaching of senior high school can effectively improve students’ interest in physics learning,and stimulate their desire to learn.2. The application of cooperative learning in physics teaching of senior high school can effectively promote the students’ cooperation consciousness, the training and development of cooperation skills.3. The application of cooperative learning in physics teaching of senior high school can effectively, improve students’ physics study, a more significant effect on the students in the middle and lower level of study.
