As the rapid development of today’s socio-economic, the network has spread into our lives. There are many kinds of ways for people to access knowledge. Rural students, who are very simple, without parents around, are usually raised up by the inter-generational parents. These varied factors contributed their unique characters. This requires the teacher not only to teach the students knowledge well but also to get along well with them. It is an art for the teachers to get along well with the students, especially for math teachers. However, due to the nature of the subject, it is much more difficult for math teachers to achieve that.This paper comes out with the construction methods of the new relationship between teachers and students of the rural high school math classes based on the knowledge of the relationship between teachers and students of the status quo at home and abroad, analysis of contemporary teacher-student relationship, the principal contradiction and the formation of a series of contradictions reasons, combination of characteristics of the character of the rural high school students and math education, as well as the author’s experience in the past few years teaching career in the context of high school curriculum. The first part according to collect and read a lot of works to understand the domestic and international research achievement on teacher-student relationship; the second part illustrate the necessary of good relationship between teachers and students from these five aspects:rural high school mathematics education background, the effecting of the mathematics class; the lifelong development of teachers ’and students’; the third and fourth part is the key part of this article. The third part shows the strategy of establish a new relationship between teachers and students with these four aspects:the old conception of teacher-student relationship has to be changed into a new era of teacher-student relationship. The teaching design has to be close to the students. Under the new era of teacher-student relationship, the teaching evaluation in mathematics teaching has to cater it. Not only in the classroom but also make friends with students out the classroom; the fourth part focuses on that teachers have to do four things in building a new teacher-student relationship:Teachers should pay attention to their inner temperament and external image; teachers should have profound professional knowledge; teachers should be concerned about students’daily life and the psychological development of the students. Finally, there is a brief discussion of the problems of building the new teacher-student relationship during mathematics class in rural high school and the outlook of the good relationship between teachers and students in future.
