With the advancement of new curriculum reform,the relationship between teachers and students as one of the most important factors is raised and concerned by the majority of educational researchers in order to implement the quality-oriented education.It is said that only after you trust your master will you follow his way.That is,if there is a close relationship,the students will affirm,trust,understand and support the words from the teacher,which thus,will have a positive impact on teaching.Based on the years of educational practice in the high school,the writer has deeply felt the importance of the good relationship between teachers and students,which can promote teaching effect well.Combined with the existing experiences and research results,this case study discusses the problems appearing in the relationship between teachers and students and how to construct a harmonious one,which will be analyzed from the point of view of the current middle school students.This paper is divided into five parts.Part I introduces the background,meaning,purpose,content and methods of the study as well as the summaries of the previous research.The second part gives a definition and theoretical support of the harmonious teacher-student relationship.On the basis of a survey,Part III also have a deep analysis on teacher-student relationship in high schools.Part IV summarizes the findings and the conclusion coupled with the in-depth discussion and analysis,exploring the causes of current status of teacher-student relationship and the awareness of the relationship.In Part V,the methods of constructing a harmonious teacher-student relationship are proposed based on the study of its causes and status.The final two parts are the major parts,including the investigation and analysis of the teacher-student relationship from multiple levels,together with the factors that result in the discord.Meanwhile it puts forward recommendations for constructing harmonious relationship between teachers and students to provide reference for junior secondary education.
