The evaluation of college students is the most important way in teachers’ teachingevaluation, as well the fundamental system to guarantee the quality of the highereducation. The efficient operational college students’ evaluation can help the teacherimprove teaching quality, meanwhile contribute the students’ sense of ownership andsubject awareness, making teacher and the students to learn while teachingeventually, and the scientific decision-making of the administrative staff benefits fromthis evaluation. Although the student evaluation of teaching has developed nearly acentury, as well have been a conventional system of the college teaching managementin many colleges and universities in domestic and overseas, there are still manyproblems in the operational process actually. The teaching evaluation of collegestudents in our country is dominated mainly by the teaching administrative staff ratherthan the teachers and students, to be marginalized group, especially the students. Andthis phenomenon leading to students’ attitude to teaching evaluation, eventuallyaffects its practical effects. This article, under this background, studies deeply aboutthe students’ participation in the students’ teaching evaluation.This article is aimed at studying and analyzing the difficult position of collegestudents in our country by document analysis and empirical inquiry, meanwhilegrasping the cases about students’ participation in the students teaching evaluation,through questionnaire of undergraduates. This article studies university studentsteaching evaluation in the students’ participation terms, based on the theoreticalthinking of students’ participation, as well as the profound consideration of existingquestions, aiming at what countermeasure should be taken to perfect college studentsteaching evaluation creatively.There are four chapters in this paper. The first chapter is introduction part,mainly sketching out briefly the background,meaning, content and methods of thestudy. The second chapter talks about participative management and college studentsteaching evaluation, which differentiate and analyze the theory of participativemanagement and the concept of college students teaching evaluation. In this chapter,on the one hand it states the participative management is the theoretical foundation ofthe students teaching evaluation, on the other hand it annotates the theory andpractical roots of the students’ participation. The third chapter is the present analysisof students’ participation in teaching evaluation, which comes from the survey of H University. This survey based on the design, implementing and participation inevaluation process of students teaching evaluation system, analyses their view,attitude and requesting,turning out the lack of students’ participation which seriouslyaffects teaching evaluation. The fourth chapter refers to this system innovation interms of participative management, profoundly stating mainly from three dimensions,including school, teachers and students.
