| The development of the new curriculum innovation in senior high school notonly encourages students to do more research studies, but also puts forward somerequirements for the teachers’ researching ability. This study mainly makes a surveyon the geography teachers about their current situation of educational research inhigh school of Nanchang city. Based on this survey, we may easily find thedifficulties existing in the process of educational research of the geography teachers.In view of the related questions, the author will provide some usefulcountermeasures so as to improve their educational research abilities. This studymakes an analysis of the status quo of the researching of the geography teachers inmiddle school. The main aim of this study is to improve the competency of theireducational researching and provide effective ways and means for the futureimprovement of this capacity educational research in high school geography teachers.The improvement of the ability of educational research would not only promoteteachers’ personal professional levels but also would greatly achieve bettergeography teaching in high school. Therefore, the keypoints of this study principallyare as follows: first, to investigate the current situation of educational research ofgeography teachers in high school in Nanchang city; second, to put forward somefeasible countermeasures in view of the related existing problems. The thesisconsists of five sections.Part one, a preliminary introduction to this study, includes the necessity of theinvestigation of the current situation of educational research of geography teachers inhigh school, the analysis of this kind of researches abroad, the significance of thisstudy and the research design.Part two reviews the literature of the researches. Based on the educationaltheory, the auther introdeces the related definitioned and theoretical statements mentioned in the study.Part three describes the current the status quo of educational research in highschool of Nanchang city, including investigation design concerns, the analysis of theresults and a summarization of the shortcomings existing in the educationalresearches of the geography teachers from diverse respects.Remarks of the existing problems and related countermeasures of the empiricalstudy are listed in part four. According to the analysis listed in the last chapter, wemake a conclusion of all the problems in the Nanchang high school geographyteacher educational research abilities from teaching activities and teaching researchaspects. Meanwhile, the author makes recommendations accordingly from the anglesof teachers, schools and educational administrative departments.In the concluding part, the author will lay the limitations of the study and alsosome suggestions for future research. |
