The most important social responsibilities of geography are to improve the geographical attainments of all citizens via geography education,to instruct them to abide by the natural law conscientiously,and to enhance the sustainable development of the state/regions.All levels of normal universities and colleges are the fronts to cultivate middle school geography teachers,and such cultivation directly influences the standards of Chinese middle school geography teachers.However,the unsatisfying actual situation is that graduates can't cater to geography teaching needs in middle schools,which is particularly reflected in graduates who just take the posts.Therefore,it is necessary to build the middle school geography teacher attainment system,which should be deemed as benchmark and objective to target adjusting different levels of cultivation of normal university students majoring in geography,and thereby to realize seamless linkage of supply and demand.For this purpose,ministry subordinate Shaanxi Normal University,provincialsubordinate Hebei Normal University and municipal subordinate Shijiazhuang University were taken for example.The essay probes into the current situation of linkage between cultivation of the three universities and attainment needs of middle school geography teachers based on the built middle school geography teacher attainment system and focusing on two levels-cultivation schemes and student investigation results,specifically,i.e analysis of matching degree between curriculums of three universities and attainment needs and analysis of investigation results of attainment standards of graduates from three universities.Moreover,the essay also presents recommendations to optimize curriculum setting and course teaching from the perspective of attainment needs of middle school geography teachers.It is important to note that there are many objective differences among three universities,so comparison conducted is not among three universities but between attainment needs of middle school geography teachers and corresponding factors of three universities.? Middle school geography teacher attainment system consists of two major parts-general teachers' attainment and special geography teachers' attainment,and the latter one can be divided into geography subject attainment and middle school geography teaching attainment.General teachers' attainment includes three Class 1 indexes,i.e.knowledge basis,vocational ideas and teacher's ethics and vocational ability.Geography subject attainment includes three Class 1 indexes,i.e.geographical knowledge,geographical thoughts and geographical skills.Middle school geography teaching attainment includes two Class 1 indexes,i.e.middle school geography teaching knowledge and middle school geography teaching ability.The Class 1 indexes include several Class 2 indexes and Class 3 indexes.? Cultivation of geography normal students in Shaanxi Normal University is basically linked to the attainment needs of middle school geography teachers.Its curriculum setting indeed has many advantages.However,this university lacks teachers'psychological health course for general teachers' attainment.Its geography subjects also lacks Ocean Geography and Regional Analysis and Planning as well as computer operation link of Introduction to Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System.What's more,in the aspect of attainment of middle school geography teachers,there aren't enough geography subject education courses and education practice.In this regard,curriculum setting should be adjusted for general teachers' attainment,and curriculum structure of liberal education module needs optimizing.For geography subject attainment,it should add relevant course practice link and optimize course teaching method and assessment method.For middle school teaching attainment,it should add the categories of geography education courses and perfect the related course teaching contents.? On the whole,cultivation of geography normal students in Hebei Normal University can meet the attainment needs of middle school geography teachers.However,the university lacks courses in general teachers' attainment,and some courses provided are not reasonably arranged.It also lacks Disaster Geography,Ocean Geography and Tourism Geography in geography attainment,and the knowledge in middle school geography teaching attainment is insufficient.The school needs to add education courses for general teachers' attainment,provide teachers' education theoretical courses earlier.Courses in geography attainment are absent,and some courses should be added in middle school geography teaching attainment.? Cultivation of geography normal students in Shijiazhuang University is just fairly linked to attainment needs of middle school geography teachers.The university lacks some courses in general teachers' attainment,and lacks Disaster Geography and Ocean Geography in geography attainment.Specialized elective curriculum development and field internship are limited.The courses corresponding to some attainments in middle school geography teaching attainment are absent,and education internship needs improving.Teachers' education theoretical courses earlier should be added for general teachers,attainment,and absent courses for geography attainment should be provided.For middle school geography teaching attainment,geography education courses should be added,and stab.building of internship bases and standard internship method management should be enhanced.? In connection with the needs of middle school geography teachers,Shaanxi Normal University,Hebei Normal University and Shijiazhuang University in the geography of the cultivation of students there are differences,But there are similarities.The general rule is that the higher the school level,the better the facilities and the teachers,and the better the convergence of the needs of middle school geography teachers.But each level of colleges and universities in the cultivation of their own advantages and disadvantages,and some advantages or disadvantages are similar.Three colleges and universities in the middle school to meet the needs of geography teachers at the same time set up a special course,Is conducive to meet the needs of secondary school geography teachers,While the existence of individual courses and some lack of knowledge,Specifically for each school put forward the relevant convergence proposal.
