In the late1980s, as a new emerging issue, the hidden curriculumcaused the great attention and discussion of our educational theory. Payattention and take full advantage of the hidden curriculum, to promotethe comprehensive development of personality of students, curriculumreform in China has become a major issue. As one of the main schooleducation, the development of the hidden sports curriculum has become abright spot for the new curriculum reform.Today’s school sports teaching model is not perfect, as always, ittakes the only rational mode of education, school sport pursues theimparting of basic knowledge, basic skills and basic skills too much,while paying insufficient attention to students of non-intellectualfactors, which not only enables students to feel dull on physicaleducation, but also influences students’ learning enthusiasm greatly,leading students feel dull for sports, and difficult to cultivate sportsinterest. As it goes on, there will be a phenomenon that a few numbersof students feel tired of physical education, and physical education willbecome a burden on minority students, and the target of school sports todevelop students’ sound personality, good psychological quality andcultural quality will be difficult to achieve. The main reason is thatthe structure of the course is too unitary, which focus on the greatimportance of the influence and role of the sports dominant course, ifthis situation is lack of timely improvement, the school’s physicaleducation curriculum objectives will not be able to achieve.Beijing is the heart of the country and the center of country’s politicsand culture. Types of schools at all levels of education keep up withsocial change, positively response to national policy in order to betterteaching and educating, improve the student’s personality to adapt to thefuture development of the society. Sport is an important means of schooleducation, plays an indispensable part in the course of the quality ofeducation system. While current physical education teaching in secondaryschool is too inclined to the dominant course, that is one-sided emphasison imparting knowledge, skills, and ignore the sports hidden curriculum.This tendency and ignorance bring many problems in Physical EducationTeaching, and have a great influence on the effectiveness of teachingphysical education curriculum. Therefore, this paper investigates andanalysis the status of the hidden curriculum of high school sports inShunyi district, Beijing.The results show that: most of the senior high school physicaleducation teachers in Shunyi district have not got enough understandingof the hidden curriculum of sports, and not grasp enough of its value,the Hidden Curriculum of the sports have not been given sufficient attention, as the unconscious use of the stage, has not subjective todesign the course content to practice; the overall situation of sportsmaterial and cultural environment is good, but small parts of the schoolstadium facilities can not meet the demand, the lack of sports equipment,quality standards and other issues; school class size is relativelystandard, but in sports class time arrangements, there exist unscientificphenomenon, seriously; the school has not paid sufficient attention tothe launching of the sports competition; most students prefer toparticipate in sports competitions, but they pay more attention to theresults of the competition; small part of school leaders emphasis onsports insufficiently, most schools has not done enough for the propagandaof sport, and there also exist the problem of inadequate school sportsfunding. Therefore, this paper analysis the hidden curriculum status quoof the Shunyi district high school sports, and puts forward suggestionfor related issues.
