The Cultivation Research Of College Students’ Entrepreneurial Competency In Engineering College

With the progress of science and technology, the development ofknowledge-based economy, China’s industrial restructuring and enterprise reform isgetting faster and faster. Higher demands are put forward to innovation andentrepreneurship education due to the development of high-technology industry andemerging industry. Engineering college students shoulder unshirkableresponsibility in the process of building innovative country. It is of greatsignificance to study the elements and influencing factors of engineering collegestudents’ entrepreneurial competency, to explore innovative ability training mode.The paper studies the countermeasures to develop students’ entrepreneurialcompetency under the background of engineering college. Firstly, studying thetheory of starting an undertaking、 enterprise education and entrepreneurialcompetency，defining the contents and ranges. Then, applying AHP to build themodel of engineering college students’ entrepreneurial competency. Next, the paperanalyses the elements which have an impact on training engineering collegestudents’ entrepreneurial competency. Finally, combined with the experience thatHeFei University of Technology obtained, the paper proposes some suggestions andcountermeasures to train these students’ entrepreneurial competency fromindividual、family、university、society and government five aspects.The paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is introduction, mainly elaborating the background andsignificance of the research、the theoretical and practical current situation on theaspect of entrepreneurial competency training home and abroad, and the majorresearch contents as well as the methods planned to be used.The second chapter is the summary of entrepreneurial theory and model.Firstly, introducing the definition of starting an undertaking、enterprise educationand entrepreneurial competency. Then, summarizing the entrepreneurialcharacteristics of engineering college students. Finally, evaluating several theorymodel used by this author for reference, making foundation for the building of nextchapter’s engineering students entrepreneurial competency comprehensive testmodel.The third chapter is the building of model. Firstly, defining three aspects toassess engineering college students’ entrepreneurial competency according to the last chapter’s theory model. Then, drawing the index of every aspect by the way ofliterature summary and concluded summary, applying AHP to rebuild model todefine the key elements. Finally, testing and verifying the model.The fourth chapter is analysis of the elements which can influence engineeringcollege student entrepreneurial competency from individual、family、university、society and government five aspects, furthermore, raising the existing problems.The fifth chapter is about countermeasures to training engineering collegestudents’ entrepreneurial competency. Combined with the experience that HeFeiUniversity of Technology obtained, respectively proposing countermeasures totrain these students’ entrepreneurial competency from individual、 family、university、society and government five angles.The sixth chapter is conclusion and forecast.
