Middle and Long Distance of Gansu Province has been the province of the traditional advantages of the project, The majority of coaches, athletes and the efforts of all parties has made some achievements, but also should see the gap between the province level of Middle and Long Distance and domestic Elite Middle Distance Athlete level. In this paper after the best results with the world record in middle distance runner in our province and our country the highest score compared and found that the overall results of the domestic men’s middle distance runner of the men’s middle distance runner in our province the highest achievement gap, the gap with the Men’s Long Distance world recordgreater. The analysis found that the speed endurance, is the main reason for poor performance of the province Middle and Long Distance, and an effective, practical method of speed endurance training is the key to increase speed endurance. Therefore, this paper aims province men’s middle distance runner speed endurance training, summed up the speed endurance training methods, improve speed endurance, improve athletic performance.This paper uses literature, expert interviews, questionnaires and other research methods province men’s middle distance runner speed endurance training. Modern Middle and Long Distance has increased the proportion of participation due to anaerobic metabolism, in order to develop the ability to glycolysis for energy, we must exercise load reaches a certain strength, which is the best way to improve the athletes acid, acid resistance, so the speedendurance training should be run through the training process. The aerobic training is to improve the endurance of athletes speed with key. Athletes aerobic training can improve oxygen uptake and the ability to use oxygen and improve the speed endurance. Aerobic training intensity should be controlled in the blood lactate6mmol/l, a heart rate of150to160beats/min, according to the classification tables Endurance training intensity aerobic training intensity of80%to95%. Timed run and quantitative run training method can effectively improve the aerobic capacity, improve speed endurance; Should be noted that the speed endurance training do athletes thinking, mental preparation, time control of the athletes will of the quality of training, speed endurance training, speed endurance training intensity control, nutrition and recovery after the speed endurance training on the speed endurancethe training effect.
