Project is a 3000-meter steeplechase emerging sports project, the project development in our country time is shorter, but with the continuous development of our country competitive sports, the performance of this project are also increased year by year, but the project is the men’s 3000 m steeplechase athlete achievement has been flat in recent years, there has been no new breakthrough, through to our country men’s 3000 m hurdle running project with foreign excellent athletes hurdles athletes were analyzed, found that project man steeplechase overall level athletes compared with foreign excellent players also there is a big gap, the gap in low speed endurance level, this is male athletes and foreign excellent athletes in our country the root cause of the achievement gap is obvious, also is our country barriers project is difficult to make a breakthrough and the key factors. Therefore, this paper aims to speed endurance training of the men’s 3000 m steeplechase research, to find a scientific and effective improve the athletes speed endurance training methods and means, improve the level of our country speed endurance athletes, so as to promote the development of the project, thus improving performance athletes, make a breakthrough.This paper through the literature material method, expert interview method, experimental method, mathematical statistics and other methods of our country’s 3000 meter steeplechase run project athletes speed endurance training methods and means of study, research through obstacles run project characteristics and disorders run the project energy supply characteristics are analyzed and summarized. The research results show that: oxygen providing energy ability, lactic acid decomposition and resistant ability, lactic acid fermentation of sugars solution for endurance, strength is the main factors affecting China’s 3000 meter steeplechase run project athletes speed endurance. Through the previous research and selection of sports training methods. Finally, the combining the specific characteristics of sports practice and project, concluded that to improve our country’s 3000 meter steeplechase run athletes of speed endurance training methods are mainly repetition training method, intermittent training method, continuous training method, fartlek training, competition training method, altitude training method and the circulating training method such as. The repetition training method, intermittent training method and fartlek is the most effective method to improve the speed and endurance of, these three kinds of training methods can effectively mobilize athletes glycolysis solution energy supply systems, enhance glycolysis ability, promote muscle glycogen reserves, enhance the glycolytic enzyme activity, in order to raise barriers to run the speed endurance of athletes. The continuous training method and the altitude training method can effectively enhance the aerobic metabolism and energy supply ability of the barrier runners, and the aerobic ability is the base of the speed endurance training of the athletes. Competition training method and the circulating training method can improve the endurance of athletes’ psychological quality and strength, due to the 3000 meters steeplechase run flat and barrier crossing combination of sports, scientific and effective strength training will help to improve the ability of athletes across the barrier, the same strength training is also an obstacle run athlete speed endurance training is important assure.
