At present, Chinese colleges and universities are undergoing a very rapidperiod of development, strengthen the management capacity of colleges anduniversities, and improve the management level, is an important work oforganization and management in colleges and universities at this stage. Collegeadministrators are a main body of university management and an important partof education in the management of people, which plays a significant role in themanagement and education, the services and education. Strengthen theuniversity administrative staff performance evaluation is the needs ofestablishing a high level, efficient administrative management team andenhancing the level and quality of university management.In this paper, Nantong University, general administrative staff performanceevaluation system as the research object, analyze Nantong Universityadministrators on the performance evaluation of existing problems, learn fullythe advanced experience of performance evaluation about administrative staff ofcolleges and universities at home and abroad, use of human resourceperformance evaluation theories and methods, design the administrative staffperformance evaluation indicators and carry out the weight distribution ofindicators with the actual situation of Nantong University, at the same timeusing the index system for try evaluation, analyze the evaluation results, putforward the proposal of improving the performance evaluation system of Nantong University administrators. The research results provide the theoreticalsupport for the effective administrative personnel performance evaluation work,in order to mobilize the administrative staff motivation fully, serve for theNantong University’s construction and the development, and can also providethe reference for the administrative personnel performance evaluation work ofthe other universities.
