Nowadays the society is a knowledge-based and economic society, and it is also a time when we comprehensively compete and cooperate mutually at the same time. The education, facing this kind of complex changes, has been unable to limit in the school, and must seek social support and coordination in various aspects. Some developed countries, such as America, Japan, studying in this field have reached mature, and the model of"home- school community association has been constructed, but the studying in China hangs behind. Moreover, now, the research is mainly concentrated on city, less on rural area, and theoretic studying is few and scattered, some research are replicated from the studying of city. In practice, there are also some problems. Therefore, this author makes full use of the research into the Theory of Overlapping Spheres, insisting on student primary, widening the methods of educational varities and stages, to strengthen"home-school community"association, and perfect nowadays's education system to solve the specific conflicts in education and promote the developing goal for each student.This article is based on the sample of two rural middle schools in Gushan town, and loft it to the whole rural schools in Jiangyin. It emphasizes the present situation in the rural schools in Jiangyin, and points out the present problems in it. It also provides some advice on appealing for society-school-home communicate each other more scientifically to better serve for the construction of our schools and the healthy growth of the youth. This thesis includes five chapters:Chapter one mainly presents the object, contents and purposes of the study, and then according to the weakness of current study and the value and sense of the study is described. At last, it clarifies the methods and thinking of study.Chapter two mainly review the research about the state of"home-school cooperation" home and abroad.Chapter three introduces the theoretical basis with emphasis, and provides the comprehensive for the theory.Chapter four analyzes the problems of home-school cooperation in middle school in rural areas and the reasons causing these problems.Chapter five searches for the strategies and the theories for improving the effect of home-school cooperation.
