With the development of society and its new demands for talented people, the teaching reform has been the key point of the teaching reform, teachers’ effective teaching has important significance on the new curriculum reform.The article is entered since the reform of the new curriculum in Gansu, what should the teacher have basic teaching skills to adapt to the new curriculum? How does the current situation of teachers on elective module teaching? How does our students learning situation since the new curriculum reform? Where does the students’ learning status affect our teachers’ teaching?The paper based on the domestic and international development trend of foreign language teaching and reform, analysis of the present China’s high school English elective module teaching situation, the main teaching problems in the analysis of curriculum standards, once again on the theoretical thinking, combined with high school English teaching practice teaching idea, teaching goal, teaching methods, teachers’ classroom,teachers’ teaching evaluation, analyzes the present situation of the current English Elective module.
