The all-around study of Chinese is a brand new course embodiment of Chinese study. Itsimplementation is not only the most attractive and highlighted part of the new Chinese courses,but also one of the most difficult obstacles to overcome in the reformation of the Chinese courses.As a new type of course embodiment, the research on the meaning, property, goal and value ofall-around study is still going on. Because of the limitation of several factors, most of thefront-line Chinese teachers can only make judgment by themselves based on the description ofthe textbooks and the standards of the Chinese courses. This will lead to offset in the practice,and bring new confusion and challenge to the Chinese teaching.This thesis is based on the current situation of the all-around study of the7thgrade ofTangshan No.74Middle School. Firsthand material has been collected by way of, for example,conversation, questionnaire, and course evaluation to get to know the implementation of theall-around study in the Tangshan No.74Middle School. This thesis discusses how to carry onall-around Chinese study in the7thgrade in a small town middle school, and focus on providingeffective examples that may help teachers working on the frontline.This thesis includes three parts.Part1is a general summary of all-around Chinese study, which mainly describes thesignificance of the all-around study and forms the theoretical base for its implementation.Part2analyzes the study situation of the7thgrade students by referring to the character ofstudents of their age. Part2also focus on cultivating their interest and confidence of study,developing their self-study ability, teamwork spirit, and the ability to combine knowledge fromdifferent subjects.Part3analyzes the current situation of7thgrade Chinese study and provides advices forimplementation. There are still many problems in the all-around Chinese study of the7thgradestudents, such as lack of course resources, formalization of teaching procedure, lack ofcommunication, etc. In order to resolve these problems, this thesis provides many teachingmethods suitable for7thgrade students, and makes further analysis and discussion by describingspecific cases.In the conclusion part, a sense of General-Chinese-Teaching is established based on the pre-described contents, the significance and purpose of all-around Chinese study is summarized,and the problems of the current all-around Chinese study in the7thgrade is simply listed, in orderto provide instructions for the teaching practice. At last, I also mention some concerns, as wellas image the good prospect of the all-around Chinese study in our school.
